The UK’s appetite continues to grow for TGI Fridays as the award-winning restaurant chain opens the new UK and global flagship restaurant in London’s Leicester Square. Home to film premieres, red carpets and glitz and glamour, Fridays is taking up a prime spot at number 29/30 Leicester Square, under Capital Radio London.
The new restaurant will be the Fridays jewel in London’s crown, and the 70th to open in the UK, providing 260 internal and 60 external covers in its biggest opening yet this November.
The awesome new Fridays boasts a £3.5 million refit, and features a stunning open kitchen, where guests can see their burgers, ribs and steaks cooked to perfection before their eyes. The restaurant will be opening its doors from 10am daily to serve up big American flavours and the fun, Fridays experience to Leicester Square’s two million weekly visitors.
Cocktails will come courtesy of a large four-sided standalone bar, which is the focal point of the restaurant. The bar will be manned by TGI Fridays’ world-class bartenders, who will be serving drinks – with some expert flairing – from the legendary cocktail range late into the night.
Karen Forrester, CEO for TGI Fridays UK, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to open the doors of our new flagship restaurant in Leicester Square for our guests, bringing the renowned Fridays experience to more people in London as of November. Fridays is all about fun, and we couldn’t be in a better location to serve this up to them – as well as great food and cocktails – in amongst all the film premiere action! We hope to see you down there very soon.”
