Juggling family life when you work in the licensed drinks trade can put a strain on everyone. Long and sometimes antisocial hours may have an impact in how much time you spend with your children.
The Licensed Trade Charity supported Adam and Natasha (pictured above) with a private education through our bursary programme. We may be able to help your child too if they are facing very unfavourable circumstances such as:
- The quality of education they currently have on offer is so significantly low that their future development would be compromised, or that
- Their home life is so potentially disruptive, that the provision of boarding and a different educational environment would help them achieve what is expected in their development.
- It’s a tough decision to send your child to boarding school, but the opportunities we offer through our school at LVS Ascot could change your child’s life forever.

The more people who know about how the Licensed Trade Charity supports children, the more they can help those in need. If you know a family working in the licensed drinks trade who will benefit from a school bursary please ask them to get in touch.
The Licensed Trade Charity’s new, free Support and Care helpline 0808 801 0550 and resource-based website www.supportandcare.org can be accessed by anyone whose job involves the selling, serving, distributing or marketing ‘alcohol’.
