The Beaumont appoints new CEO.
Stuart Procter has been announced as Chief Executive of The Beaumont hotel in London’s Mayfair.
As one of Britain’s leading hoteliers, with over 20 years’ experience, Procter has a wealth of experience of the international hospitality market and an abiding love of service that began at a very young age.
In addition to ensuring the ongoing success of his teams and increased levels of customer satisfaction across the board, Procter is also involved in a variety of social responsibility and charity projects.
Procter also works to encourage, motivate and mentor young people to succeed in a career within the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry, and works with Hospitality Action, the Hospitality Industry Benevolent Organisation, which offers vital assistance to all who work or have worked within the hospitality sector in the UK and who find themselves in crisis. He is also Vice-President of Debra UK, a national charity that supports people living with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), their relatives, partners and carers, and has been instrumental in raising awareness and funds to support the EB community.
Procter joins at an exciting time in the hotel’s history, with The Beaumont having recently undergone a significant multi-million pound investment with an additional 29 rooms and suites, and a refurbishment of the original 72 rooms and ground floor by the late French architect and designer, Thierry Despont.
Richard Faber, Director of Beaumont Hotel Properties, said of Procter’s appointment: “Stuart has specialised in managing high-end hotel portfolios and hospitality projects throughout his career and as a result, his depth of knowledge and experience of the sector is second to none. We are delighted to welcome him to the team and look forward to the next era of The Beaumont.”
Stuart Procter commented: “As a young boy growing up in Blackburn, if you had a hotel in Mayfair on the Monopoly board, you won the game – and so it’s always been my dream to work in a hotel in this prestigious part of the capital.
“Now it’s time to put The Beaumont on the international map, putting service at the heart of everything we do, and creating some truly exciting food and beverage offerings in the process. I am delighted to be joining the team at The Beaumont and look forward to building our focus around creating those unique guest experiences, rooted in the very best of British hospitality.”
