From Brexit and GDPR to AI and marketing, the Catering Equipment & Services Forum and Hospitality Tech & Innovation Forum will cover all the big issues.
Brexit has the potential to have a profound impact on the hospitality sector, not just in terms of workforce but also cross-border operations, multinational supplier relationships, supply chain and regulation.
Delegates at the double-header Catering Equipment & Services Forum and Hospitality Tech & Innovation Forum, which takes place on March 25th & 26th 2019 at Whittlebury Hall, will have a unique opportunity to gain insight into these issues and more during educational seminar sessions hosted by some of the industry’s leading lights.
The opening keynote panel at the Hospitality Tech & Innovation Forum – Artificial Intelligence: What Does It Mean For Hospitality? – will be chaired by HOSPA CEO Jane Pendlebury, with participants including Avvio’s Frank Reeves and Keystep’s Andrew Evans.
They will look at how AI will drive the hospitality business over the next 3-5 years, how it can improve the guest experience and highlight who is ahead of the curve when it comes to implementation.
In addition, Pitmans Partner Jonathan Grey will chair a discussion with Mandarin Oriental’s Stephanie Timsit and Bryan Cave Leighton Painsner’s Kate Brimsted into the impact of GDPR on the hospitality sector and how the industry can safeguard its data in the face of hacking threats.
Meanwhile, the Catering Equipment & Services Forum seminars will open with a panel chaired by CGA Peach CEO Peter Martin, with MCA Insight’s Simon Stenning, Wagamama’s Emma Wood and Food Futurologist Morgaine Gay debating the innovations set to shape the UK’s catering industry over the next five years.
The event will also tackle Brexit head-on, with Institute of Hospitality CEO Peter Ducker chairing the panel debate Adapt Or Die: How Can Catering Businesses Secure Their Short, Medium And Long Term Prospects In Post Brexit Britain? with key insights from UK Hospitality’s Kate Nicholls and Lucknam Park’s Harry Murray.
